Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pagecart (the "Service"), operated by Pagecart ("we", "us", "our"). By creating a store, accessing the dashboard, or using our storefronts, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Accounts and stores

You must provide accurate information when creating an account or store, and you're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. One account may own multiple stores. You must be legally able to enter a binding contract to use the Service.

2. Merchant responsibilities

If you use Pagecart to run a store, you're solely responsible for:

  • the products, content, and pages you publish, including their legality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable law;
  • fulfilling orders, handling returns/refunds, and any obligations to your own customers;
  • complying with tax, consumer-protection, and data-protection laws that apply to your store and your customers; and
  • any content or media you upload (product images, branding, blog posts) not infringing anyone else's rights.

3. Payments

Payment processing for orders placed on your store is provided by Stripe via Stripe Connect. Funds from your customers' orders flow through your own connected Stripe account, not through us. You're responsible for your Stripe account and for accepting Stripe's own terms of service. We don't custody your funds and aren't a party to the sale between you and your customers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • sell illegal goods or services, or violate applicable law;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other stores' data; or
  • use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (product data, media, page content, blog posts). You grant us a license to host, store, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service, including serving your published storefront to your customers.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a store that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, or is required by law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle data after termination.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost sales, lost data, or disputes between you and your customers.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
